Terms of Use

1. What is StrategyLens?

StrategyLens is a browser-based tool published by INFINITYDEV, S.L. that lets you analyze MetaTrader 5 HTML backtest reports and XLSX history exports. No account creation is required.

StrategyLens runs entirely in your browser, and this local processing is free of charge. In the future, INFINITYDEV, S.L. may introduce optional cloud features — such as cloud persistence and server-side processing — which may carry costs. INFINITYDEV, S.L. reserves the right to introduce paid plans, usage limits, or other pricing for such features at any time. Continued use after any such change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

StrategyLens is under active and continuous development. Features may change, be modified, deprecated, or disabled at any time without prior notice. New features may be added at any time. Some features may be available only for a limited period or subject to future access restrictions. INFINITYDEV, S.L. makes no commitment to maintain any particular feature in its current form.

2. Your data stays in your browser

All parsing and computation is performed client-side in your browser. Your backtest reports and trade data are never stored on our servers. The only server-side requests StrategyLens makes are:

• TSPA decryption — when you upload a .tspa file, it is sent to our server endpoint for in-memory decryption and immediately discarded. No data is logged or retained.
• CSV parsing — large CSV files may be sent to a server route for parsing in memory and discarded immediately. No data is logged or retained.

Separately, and only with your opt-in consent, StrategyLens collects anonymous product telemetry to debug errors and improve the app: Azure Application Insights (error reports, performance/Web-Vitals, and feature-usage events; cookieless) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymous heatmaps and strict-masked session replays). This telemetry never includes your trade data, backtest results, or financial figures — Clarity replays are strict-masked so on-screen numbers and charts are hidden — and you can enable or disable each service independently from the Cookie Policy preferences.

3. Sharing (optional cloud publish)

All analysis in StrategyLens runs locally in your browser. Unless you explicitly use the Sharing feature described below, no backtest data or computed results leave your device.

StrategyLens includes an optional Sharing feature (currently in preview) that lets you publish a portfolio or strategy result to a public link. When you publish, a sanitised copy of the parsed results — comprising trade history, deposits, and aggregation settings — is uploaded to TrendSurfers cloud storage and becomes accessible to anyone who has the link. Sharing never includes your original .set files, EA parameters, source file names, or account details. The Sharing feature is entirely opt-in: nothing is uploaded unless you initiate a publish.

Published links are not guaranteed permanent and may be reset or removed at any time, including as part of preview infrastructure changes.

You can delete a published item from the browser that published it, which holds the delete key. If that browser's local data has been cleared or is otherwise unavailable, you may request removal by contacting [email protected].

You are solely responsible for the portfolio names, author names, and any other text you enter when publishing a share. You must not publish offensive, misleading, infringing, or otherwise improper names or content. INFINITYDEV, S.L. does not author, review, or endorse this user-supplied content and accepts no responsibility for the names or content that a user chooses to publish. If you open a shared link and believe a portfolio or strategy is offensive or abusive, please report it using the Report button shown at the top of the shared view, or contact [email protected]. In the event of abuse, INFINITYDEV, S.L. reserves the right to change these conditions of use and to restrict or suspend the Sharing feature until further notice.

For-sale listings

When publishing a share you may optionally mark it as “for sale” and attach a price and your contact details (Discord, Telegram and/or email) as entered in your local Settings. By doing so you consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) to those contact details being embedded in the publicly accessible share link, visible to anyone who opens it. The data controller is INFINITYDEV, S.L.; the hosting processor is Microsoft Azure (EU region), and Cloudflare provides the anti-abuse verification (Turnstile) performed when you publish. The purpose of this processing is solely to let interested parties contact you. The data is retained until you delete the share using your delete link, plus up to 7 days in backup storage. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the share.

StrategyLens, TrendSurfers and INFINITYDEV, S.L. do not participate in, broker, process, facilitate or guarantee any sale or transaction between users. The for-sale feature exists for the sole purpose of connecting interested parties, who act entirely at their own risk. We provide no warranty or guarantee of any kind, accept no liability for any dealings between users, and nothing in a listing constitutes financial or investment advice. StrategyLens does not verify the validity, accuracy or authenticity of any backtest or other content in a listing — shares represent data uploaded by the publishing user, as-is. Before any purchase you must conduct your own investigation and due diligence; responsibility for any transaction lies solely with the users involved.

4. Not investment advice

StrategyLens is a research and analysis tool. It is not a trading signal service, robo-advisor, automated execution engine, or financial advice product. All outputs — including backtest statistics, equity curves, drawdown metrics, and any other analysis — are research outputs intended for your own evaluation.

Past performance is not indicative of future results. All trading decisions are made solely by you, on your own analysis, and at your own risk. INFINITYDEV, S.L. assumes no liability for any financial outcomes of any trading activity informed by or derived from the use of StrategyLens.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use StrategyLens to generate or distribute unlawful trading signals or advice;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, deobfuscate, tamper with, modify, or attempt to derive the source code of StrategyLens, or circumvent, disable, or interfere with any technical, security, or licensing protection of StrategyLens or any other software published by INFINITYDEV, S.L.;
• Scrape, overload, probe, or abuse the server endpoints, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data;
• Use StrategyLens in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Any reverse-engineering, tampering, or circumvention described above is a material breach of these Terms and of the End User License Agreement (EULA) governing StrategyLens, and may be pursued under applicable law.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

StrategyLens is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. INFINITYDEV, S.L. makes no representations regarding accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted operation, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

7. Third-party trademarks

MetaTrader®, MetaTrader 5™, MT5™ and MQL5™ are trademarks of MetaQuotes Software Corp. INFINITYDEV, S.L. is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or otherwise connected to MetaQuotes Software Corp. or any of its affiliates. StrategyLens is an independent tool that processes MetaTrader 5 report files; it is not developed or approved by MetaQuotes.

StrategyLens displays logos, names, and branding of proprietary trading firms and brokers (including, without limitation, FTMO, The5ers, MyForexFunds, Funded Trading Plus, and others) solely for the purpose of identification within the prop-firm checker feature. All such logos, brand names, and visual identities are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. INFINITYDEV, S.L. makes no claim of ownership, affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship with respect to any such firm or its intellectual property. The display of a firm's logo or name within StrategyLens does not imply any commercial relationship with or approval by that firm, except where separately disclosed under section 8.

Charts in StrategyLens are powered by TradingView Lightweight Charts (Apache 2.0 license). All other trademarks referenced are the property of their respective owners.

8. Promotions, affiliate links & commercial relationships

StrategyLens is part of the TrendSurfers product suite published by INFINITYDEV, S.L. INFINITYDEV, S.L. reserves the right to promote, advertise, and surface within StrategyLens its other TrendSurfers products and tools — including, without limitation, Portfolio Manager and MT Manager — as well as related integrations and offers. Such promotion may appear as in-app placements, banners, notices, or links. These promotions do not constitute financial advice (see section 4).

INFINITYDEV, S.L. reserves the right to use affiliate links for prop trading firms and brokers, and to receive referral fees, broker rebates, or other forms of compensation, in connection with any links, comparisons, rankings, or integrations surfaced within StrategyLens — including, without limitation, the prop-firm checker and any broker-related content. This constitutes a material commercial relationship between INFINITYDEV, S.L. and the relevant firm or broker, within the meaning of applicable consumer and commercial-practices law (including EU Directive 2005/29/EC). Where practicable, affiliate or referral links will be identified at the point of placement; however, per-link labelling across all surfaces may not always be feasible. By using StrategyLens you acknowledge and accept this commercial practice.

The existence of an affiliate or referral relationship does not influence the objective analytical data, computed metrics, or statistical outputs produced by StrategyLens from your own backtest reports. All analysis is performed client-side on your own data. INFINITYDEV, S.L. does not promote or recommend any specific prop trading firm or broker over another. Any sorting, ranking, or filtering of prop firms or brokers presented within StrategyLens is derived exclusively from your own backtest and report data — not from affiliate priority, commercial agreements, or any other non-analytical criterion. StrategyLens presents this information impartially and as-is for your own evaluation.

9. Privacy & cookies

StrategyLens is published by INFINITYDEV, S.L. as part of the TrendSurfers product suite. The master Privacy Policy at trendsurfers.io describes how INFINITYDEV, S.L. collects and processes personal data across all TrendSurfers products, including the strategy-lens.app data flows (hosting on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps in the West Europe region, transient in-memory processing of TSPA and CSV uploads with zero retention, and opt-in behavioural analytics via Microsoft Clarity, and error/performance analytics via Azure Application Insights).

Cookies are set per-domain. The cookies StrategyLens itself sets on strategy-lens.app are inventoried in our Cookie Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. Any dispute arising from the use of StrategyLens shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Girona, Spain. EU consumers retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence under applicable EU consumer protection law.
